Johnson County
Radio Controlled Airplane Club

Peaceful, exciting, beautiful....these are words that describe this model flying area.
Small electric model planes fly silently through the air while at the same time
larger nitro methane powered planes fly beside them.
The comparison that comes to mind is that of gentle dragonflies
mingling with the powerful American Golden Eagle.
It would seem that such would be entirely improbable, but it isn't.

This Area is located due North of the main Camp Atterbury entrance.
Look for the sign posted on the north side of the road that is just after the entrance
to the golf course. Turn north and drive about 1/8 mile and it will be to your right.
Turn in and drive up to the parking lot and the fence.
